What is Gaelic football?

An Irish team sport.

There are Gaelic clubs on all continents of the world...

The Field
It is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch, with H-shaped goals at each end.
The Match
Players advance the ball up the field with a combination of carrying, soloing (dropping & then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands) kicking & hand-passing to their team-mates.
How to Play
The primary object is to score by kicking or striking the ball with the hand and getting it through the goals.
Keeping Score
The objective of the sport is to score points by passing the ball through the other team's goals (3 points) or a set of two upright posts separated by a crossbar 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) above the ground (1 point).
